To him, the situation in the disaster area is very difficult: “Today we will make decision on schools in those regions. I will get in touch with the education departments of those regions. We will stop the activity of schools in some villages of Sabirabad, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Imishli and Salyan prematurely. First we must accommodate the people of the affected regions. The activity of schools will be restored until September 15 - till those people will return to their homes”.

Mardanov said that date of centralized final examinations had been changed in those areas: “We had to hold examinations in those areas on June 3. But we changed the date of the examinations. We will speak about our decision on examination in future”.

The minister didn’t say anything about the number of educational institutions in the disaster area. He explained it with the changing of numbers of such schools.
