The water level in Kur River passing through Zardab regions rose 10 cm, in Surra – 11 cm, in Shirvan – 15 cm, in Salyan – 15 cm, in Banka – 6 cm and Araz River burst 8 cm, chief hydrologist of the Hydro-Meteorological Forecast Bureau of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Asif Verdiyev told APA. He said rainfall on May 15-16 caused a rise of water in the rivers.
The level of Araz reservoir remained unchangeable – 777.77 m, but in Mingachevir reservoir it rose 5 cm and reached 82.68 m.
He maximum level in the reservoir should be 83 m.
