Azerbaijan and Russia deepen cooperation in higher education

Anatoly Torkunov told APA that the parties signed a cooperation agreement in 2007 and bilateral relations have been developing apace since.
"Our professors repeatedly visited, taught courses, our postgraduate students were in summer schools here. Today we agreed on a fundamentally new way of cooperation - a joint master’s courses - this is not a branch. Here work highly qualified professors. So, we believe that we should cooperate in the establishment of joint programs. We plan to create several joint master’s degree programs. Students will be granted two diplomas - one by MGIMO and one by ADA. In addition, we have agreed on cooperation in research activities and plan to hold a series of conferences,†he added.
â€Our relationship is at the level of strategic partnership. I think that we can realize everything we planned because we and ADA are not only willing but also committed to cooperation,†he noted.
