Japanese government supports construction of water supply facilities and improvement of irrigation canal in Boyuk Bahmanli village of Fizuli Region

Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. On January27, 2010 hand-over Ceremony of the Project for “Construction of Drinkable Water Supply Facilities and Improvement of Irrigation
Canal in Boyuk Bahmanli village of Fizuli Region” within the framework of “Grassroots and Human Security Grant Assistance Program” provided by the Government of Japan will be held in Boyuk Bahmanli village of Fizuli region. The Ceremony will be attended by Deputy Head of the Mission and Counselor of Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Toshikazu Muto.

The Grant Contract of the above-mentioned project had been concluded on
October 9, 2009, between the Embassy of Japan and “PRAXIS” Support to Social
Development Public Union. The aim of the project is to improve the condition of water facilities in Boyuk Bahmanli village. The number of direct beneficiaries from the project is 6264 persons and scale of the project is USD 97,000.
