Azerbaijanâ€™s first scientific-sport expedition in the Andes - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s first scientific-sport expedition led by president of Air and Extreme Sports Federation Huseyn Bagirov ended excursion to the Andes (Argentine), the federation told APA. The expedition implemented the scientific-geological program on the geology of Aconcagua Mountain and program on biological diversity of South America. Rich video and photo materials were taken during the expedition.

Members of the expedition took Azerbaijani flag, pennants written â€œI am proud of being an Azerbaijaniâ€ (Heydar Aliyevâ€™s words), â€œAzerbaijan, forward with Ilham toward new peaksâ€ and portrait of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Moreover, banners in Azerbaijani and English â€œ2010 ecology year in Azerbaijan â€“ for the Green Worldâ€ were hung on the peak. All this was done by the member of the expedition, head of Ekosport club of Azerbaijanâ€™s Air and Extreme Sports Federation, employee of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Mirbedel Mirhasanli. The expedition is going to return to Azerbaijan.
