Public Union of Azerbaijani Students Youth Organizations holds constituent congress - <font color=red> UPDATED - PHOTOSESSION</font>

President Ilham Aliyevâ€™s congratulation letter to the participants was read at the event. Chairperson of the humanitarian policy department of the Presidential Administration Fatma Abdullazadeh read the letter. The letter writes that young people are active in the public administration, economy, sport and culture, they represent Azerbaijan in the international arena. The letter also says that Azerbaijani youth has important tasks. The young people should contribute to increasing the countryâ€™s power and forming Azerbaijan as a strong state. President expresses his confidence that the new organization will become one of the important members of the civil society.

Head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev addressed the event. Ramiz Mehdiyev said this is a historical day in the life of Azerbaijani youth, 200,000 students begin functioning as a unique organization.
â€œThis initiative assigns us great tasks,â€ he said.

Ramiz Mehdiyev said funds allocated for the development of education are increasing every year.
â€œAfter the army, education is the second sphere to which most funds are allocated. It shows that President always focuses his attention on education as a strategic sphere,â€ he said.

Head of the Presidential Administration noted that there are some problems in education. According to him, low-quality education in some educational institutions influences the further development of the society.
â€œThese shortcomings should be eliminated. Educational institutions should prepare intellectual specialists devoted to the national, moral values,â€ he said.

The regulations of the union were confirmed at the congress. Shahin Ismayilov was elected chairman of Public Union of Azerbaijani Students Youth Organizations.

The representatives of the congress appealed to President and Azerbaijani youth.
