A special Il-76 aircraft equipped with medical modules from Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations will transport Russian citizens injured in the crash of an Azerbaijani plane in Kazakhstan to Moscow, Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations stated, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
The Ministry noted that following the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, a special flight has departed from Moscow to Aktau.
The statement added that the medical evacuation of injured Russian citizens, who were aboard the passenger plane that crashed while flying from Baku to Grozny, will be carried out by the medical aircraft.
The aircraft is equipped with all the necessary equipment for transporting the injured. Modern specialized medical modules, ventilators, and cardiac monitors allow for providing medical assistance and monitoring the condition of patients during the flight.
It was also noted that doctors from the Centrospas team, psychologists from the Center for Emergency Psychological Aid of Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations, and a group of specialists from the Ministry of Health will accompany the injured on the flight.
Note that it has been reported that among the passengers of the Azerbaijani Airlines plane that crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan, there were three Russian citizens of Azerbaijani origin.
