Azerbaijan’s MES: 146 people evacuated due to heavy rain in Southern region-VIDEO

As reported, in connection with intensive rain started from night in the southern region of the republic, as a result of increase of water content in rivers and water canals, short-term floods, some private houses, yards and fields, other objects and their surroundings were flooded in some settlements of Masalli and Jalilabad districts, APA reports citing the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).

Implementation of rescue and other emergency measures by the forces of the MES involved in the flooded areas are underway.

As a result of emergency measures, during the day, 146 people over Mollaoba, Teze Alvadi, Bedelan, Boradigah villages of Massali region, Jalilabad city and Tazakand, Astanli, Farzili, Seyidbazar, Goytapa, Porsava, Privolnoye villages of the region were evacuated to safe place.
