It happened in front of the building in the 41st district, 1b. Resident of the building, employee of the foreign exchange office in Karvan trade center Murshid Jumshud Huseynov was attacked by unidentified men while returning home. The assaulters knifed him, took AZN 40,000 and jewelries worth AZN 14,000 and escaped. Huseynov was hospitalized. According to doctors, the state of health is stable.
Employees of Sumgayit Police Office and Prosecutor’s Office arrived at the site. The law-enforcement bodies continue operations to find the assaulters.
