Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The woman, who embezzled a large sum of money from the banks, has been arrested in Azerbaijan’s capital, Yasamal district police office told APA. Niftullayeva Malahat Mammadgulu, 55, faced charges under Article 178 (swindling) of the Criminal Code. Interior Ministry’s Investigation Department is carrying out the investigation. She reportedly had a business in the capital and did not return the money she had taken from a number of famous banks.
Malahat Nigtullayeva was arrested by the 29th department of Yasamal district police office.
