Sumgayit Police Office told APA that one of the suicides was committed near Lale café in the second district. Azad Rashid Safarov, 50, hanged himself from a tree. He had reportedly lived parasitically.
Another suicide was committed in Jorat settlement of Sumgayit. Zahid Hajigulu Guliyev, 32, hanged himself from the log of the auxiliary construction in his yard. The causes of the suicide are not known yet. Sumgayit Prosecutor’s Office launched criminal case on both facts on article 125 (inciting to suicide) of the Criminal Code. Investigation is underway.
Three suicides were recorded in Baku in the past two days.
