The incident took place in the city’s 9th micro-district in the multistory building, Sumgayit City Police Office told APA. Resident of Sumgayit Balakhanim Huseyn Mirzayeva threw herself from the 3rd storey of the building’s first bloc.
Mirzayeva died at the site. According to the reports, she suffered from the nervous disease and received treatment in Out-Patient Psychiatric Facility of Sumgayit City.
Reasons of the suicide are still unknown. The Sumgayit Prosecutor’s Office launched a criminal case within the article 125 (bringing to suicide) of the Criminal Code. The fact is investigated.
