The company demands compensation from the owner of the ship for having rescued the goods. Sarmat-1 en route Astrakhan-Enzeli caught in storm in Absheron peninsula. The State Company of Caspian Oil Fleet told SiaNews agency that the owner of the ship was aware of the amount of the compensation. The agency reports that the ship is owned by Navigator CSC. Portnews agency reports that the ship is owned by Amesko OSC. The agency published the statement of the company. The statement says that the State Company of Caspian Oil Fleet wants €700,00 for having rescued the ship and this figure was exaggerated:
“Our insurance company is ready to pay the real sum, not the exaggerated one.”
