Members of radical religious grouping scuffle during court hearing

The trial was presided over by Islam Neymanov. Aydin Sadigov, Department Chief of Construction Department #14, where defendant Samir Aliyev worked till the arrest, gave testimony. He stated that he spoke to Samir about religion and there was divergence of opinion between them how to rule the government.
Kamran Asadov and Sadigov quarreled because of religious dispute. Defendant Samir Mehbaliyev wanted Haji Gamet Suleymanov, Head of Narimanov District Believersâ€™ Community to be invited to the court. Other defendants supported it.
Defendant Hajibala Husseinov said that Haji Gamet was Sadigovâ€™s teacher. Testimony of deceased grandfather of Edgar Aliyev was made public. Acquaintance of Hajibala Husseinov, former Department Chief of National Security Ministry Vugar Omarov gave testimony. He assessed Husseinov as good-mannered man.
Video shot in Lokbatan in February, 2006 was demonstrated. The court did not approve demands of Kamran, Bakhtiyar and others protesting it.
Kamran and Edgar argued during the process.
Babayev insulted family of Edgar Aliyev and it made him nervous. They scuffled during court hearing. The trial was postponed for 10 minutes.
Hajar Hagverdiyeva, a friend of defendant Rovshan Abdulaliyev gave testimony.
Kamran Babayev apologized to Edgar, his aunt Samaya, father Eldar Osmanov.
The court passed a decision to bring arrested Anar Nurlu to court hearing.
Asadov urged defendants to be patient.
The trial was fixed on January 28.
Kamran Asadov, Bakhtiyar Orujov, Farid Jabbarov, Elshan Mammadov, Kamran Babayev, Samir Mehbaliyev, Terlan Karimov, Edgar Aliyev, Ramil Karimov, Shirvani Babayev, Samir Aliyev, Yashar Maharramov, Orkhan Alizadeh, Hajibala Huseynov, Azer Ibadov, Shahriyar Maharramov, Ramin Jalilov, Rovshan Abdulaliyev, Ilkin Ismayilov and Vugar Aliyev are accused of setting up a radical religious group, attempting to start military struggle, attacking on LUKoil petrol station in Baku, preparing terror attack on the U.S. and UK embassies in Azerbaijan.
