Baku. Ramil Mammadli–APA. Chairman of Azerbaijan Anti-Torture Committee Elchin Behbudov visited the 1st isolation ward of the Justice Ministry Penitentiary Service on Friday. Behbudov told APA he met with political analyst Zardusht Alizadeh’s son Salur Alizadeh, who was arrested on January 21 by the Drug Prevention Office of the Interior Ministry. Alizadeh did not complain about his detention conditions.
Behbudov also met with Huseynov Sabir Anvar, who was arrested for the explosion in the Lokbatan hospital on November 25, 2008. Huseynov told him that he didn’t consider himself guilty and police used force during his arrest.
