He said the investigations showed that gas passed to the stove via rubber pipe in the apartment and gas-tap was open when the blast occurred. Aliyev said gas supplied for population’s use was clean.
Head of the Nasimi District Executive Power Nasib Mahamaliyev said funerals of the blast victims would be organized by the government. He said evacuated people temporarily settled in the school and kindergarten.
Baku City Assistant Prosecutor Ramiz Rzayev said investigation at the site would take one week and then materials would be sent for expertise.
