 Man shot dead in market in Azerbaijan’s Beylegan region - <font color=red>UPDATED - 2 </font>

Chief of criminal department of Beylegan region police office Nuru Mammadov told APA that resident of Fuzuli region living in Baku Mammadov Rashad Suleyman, 31, shot at Beylegan resident Shirinov Kamal Telman, 31. He said that Rashad Mammadov had fired at Kamal Shirinov five times. Kamal Shirinov died on the way to hospital. Mammadov was detained near the site.
Nuru Mammadov said the incident had supposedly happened because of family dispute. The detained man said in the preliminary interrogation that his wife was from Beylegan and had recently come to his father’s house. Rashad Mammadov said his father-in-law had phoned him and said his wife left the children at home and went away. Later he left for Beylegan and committed the murder.
Beylegan Prosecutor’s Office told APA that criminal case had been launched on the fact on article 120 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code. Investigation is underway.
