Lawyer Mikhail Bogomolov: â€œEtimad Ismayilov attempted to commit suicide twice protesting against the hearingâ€

Chelyabinsk. Viktoriya Dementyeva â€“ APA. Lawyer Mikhail Bogomolov confirmed that Etimad Ismayilov, son of Chairman of Justice Party, MP Ilyas Ismayilov attempted to commit suicide for the second time on December 24. Bogomolov told APA that his client had done it as a sign of protest against violation of his rights in the court.
â€œThe incident is being investigated. For the first time Etimad Ismayilov attempted to commit suicide on December 19. But we did not publicize it, as we did not want his father Ilyas Ismayilov know about suicide attempt. I know Ilyas Ismayilov from my previous job. He worries about the hearing, because he can not achieve restoration of his sonâ€™s rights. Thatâ€™s why I did not want to publicize the first suicide attempt,â€ he said.
Mikhail Bogomolov noted that he was investigating whether it was possible to launch criminal case concerning incitement to suicide.
Bogomolov said he was trying to draw the attention of various human rights organizations, international organizations to the process.
