Mercedes sold for AZN 110 in Azerbaijanâ€™s capital

Baku Main Police Office told APA that Baku resident Altay Huseynov took his Mercedes-Benz to Ulduz car service for repair. The master working in the service told Huseynov to leave his car behind the workshop, since there were a lot of clients.

Huseynov did as the master had told him. The next day he came to the service but could not find his car. The workers of the service said they knew nothing about it. Altay Huseynov immediately appealed to Nizami district police office. As a result of the operations carried out by the police the whereabouts of Altay Huseynovâ€™s car were determined.

It was found out that Baku resident Gurbanov Shafi Uveys, 24, took Huseynovâ€™s Mercedes with the help of his â€œEvacuatorâ€ and brought to the workshop of Baku Steel Company. Gurbanov sold the car to the worker of the workshop Elnur Rafigov.

Gurbanov has already been detained, criminal case has been launched on article 177 (robbery) of the Criminal Code.
