Preliminary session of the trial of Ilhama Guliyevaâ€™s son and other 13 persons held

Baku. Hafiz Heydarovâ€“APA. Preliminary session of the trial of Ilhama Guliyevaâ€™s son Orkhan Nadirov, sons of former prosecutors Mahir Mirsalamov and Yalchin Hasanov and other 11 persons has been held on Thursday at the Court of Grave Crimes under the chairmanship of Judge Azer Orucov, APA reports. Prosecutor Nariman Alakbarov submitted the act of prosecution, which charged Nadirov, Mirsalamov, Hasanov and other 11 persons on article 206 (smuggling), 234.1 (illegal purchase or storage without a purpose of selling of narcotics or psychotropic substances in a quantity (amount) exceeding necessary for personal consumption) and 234.4.1 (illegal purchase or storage with a view of selling, manufacturing, processing, transportation, transfer or selling of narcotics or psychotropic substances on preliminary arrangement by group of persons or organized group) of the Criminal Code. The trial was appointed to October 22.
The accused persons were arrested as a result of operation conducted by the Ministry of National Security in May.
