CEC officially approves Ilham Aliyevâ€™s candidacy for presidency

CEC members have discussed approval of Ilham Aliyevâ€™s candidacy for presidency. It has been reported that signatures of 46750 people supported Ilham Aliyevâ€™s candidacy were submitted to CEC. These signatures were collected in the territory of 124 electoral districts. As a result of examinations 46253 signatures have been considered authoritative and 497 non-authoritative.
Then CEC has reviewed the issue of Gulamhuseyn Alibeyliâ€™s candidacy, who nominated himself. CEC positively reacted to this issue. The commission has also discussed other issues put on agenda.
