Azerbaijani human rights defender meets with Farhad and Rafig Aliyevs

Baku. Mahbube Gasimbeyli â€“APA. Chairman of Azerbaijan Committee against Tortures Elchin Behbudov has met on Saturday with former economic development minister Farhad Aliyev in 2nd jail and his brother former president of Azpetrol Group of Companies Rafig Aliyev in 6th jail.
The human rights defender has also visited the Justice Ministry Penitentiary Serviceâ€™s 3rd medical center for tuberculosis prisoners. He said 53 tuberculosis prisoners died in 2006, 44 in 2007 and 23 over the past six months. According to Behbudov, 30-bed new box is building for tuberculosis prisoners.
