Baku. Mahbuba Gasimbayli – APA. No appeal has been filed against court decision on Samir Dadashov, former director of the State Anti-Monopoly Service under the Ministry of Economic Development. Samir Dadashov’s lawyer Gulsare Imanova told APA that they were not thinking about filing an appeal.
The lawyer did not give information about the investigation and said media reports that her client attempted to commit suicide were groundless.
“I am going to appeal to court in connection with this, because it is very serious,†she said.
Samir Dadashov and officers of State Anti-Monopoly Service, who were arrested along with him, faced charges under article 311 (bribery) of the Criminal Code. They are held in the detention place of National Security Ministry.
