Azerbaijani MPâ€™s son arrested in Moscow to stand trial after August 20

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. Court hearing on case of Etimad Ismayilov, son of Azerbaijan Justice Party, MP Ilyas Ismayilov, who had been arrested in Russia, will start after August 20. Etimad Ismayilovâ€™s lawyer Jerulla Ramazanov told APA that he studied the investigation materials submitted to court and did not agree to the accusation. The law did not Chelyabinsk court to consider the case and said necessary measures were taken for holding the process in Russian Federal Court. The lawyer said the appeals made to Russian authorities in connection with the case did not have positive results.
Etimad Ismayilov was detained in Domodedovo airport, Moscow on March 25 this year. He faced charges under articles 159.4 (swindling) and 274/1 (money-laundering) of Russian Criminal Code.
