Stolen car used in armed attack found in Azerbaijanâ€™s capital

Binagadi District Police Office told APA that Mercedes, by which the assaulters came to that place, was found in front of Tergul restaurant in Nasimi District. It was determined that the car used in the crime had been stolen and searched by Narimnov District Police Office. Search operations continue. Criminal case has been launched on the fact on article 181.2.1 (burglary on preliminary arrangement by group of persons), 181.2 4 (burglary with causing damage to the victim in significant size), 181.2.5 (with application of weapon or subjects used as the weapon) and 182 (extortion) of the Criminal Code.
The reports that Ruslan Gasimov was the officer of Binagadi branch of Bank of Baku were not confirmed. Head Financial Department of Bank of Baku Farid Alizadeh told APA that Ruslan Gasimov was not the bankâ€™s officer. Royal Bank of Baku told APA that a man called Gasimov did not work in the bank.

Owner of the foreign exchange office Gasimov underwent assault on August 6. Unknown men threatened him with TT pistol and robbed a great deal of money from his BMW.
