Baku. Haji Zeynalov – APA. Yasamal District Court has today considered the suit filed by Free Devotees Union against Azadlig newspaper. Judge Elchin Gurbanov presided over the case. Director of Azadlig newspaper Azer Ahmadov told APA that the court had rejected the union’s suit.
Chairman of the union Tahmasib Novruzov appealed to court asking to ban production and release of Azadlig newspaper under the present leadership. The union also wants the present leadership and personnel to pay AZN 150,000 for non-pecuniary damage.
