Former police officer of Germany detained in an Azerbaijani region

APAâ€™s north bureau reports that the German citizen is said to be former police officer. 15 other local religious men, who were going to the mosque to perform namaz, were also reportedly taken to the police department. Head inspector of the police department Binyameddin Abuzerov told APA that the German citizen stopped near the mosque, when he was passing by, the police officers controlled his documents and released him after that. As regards the detention of other 15 people, head inspector said no one was arrested, prophylactic talks were held with them in the department.
