Criminal case of Iranian citizen convicted in Azerbaijan sent back to court of first instance

Baku. Haji Zeynalov â€“ APA. Baku Appeals Court has today considered the appeal filed by Iranian citizen Roohihir Mohsen Amin, who is accused of swindling. Judge Etibar Nabiyev presided over the process, the court told APA. The court passed a decision to send the criminal case back to the Court of Grave Crimes. According to the decision, violation of law was committed by the court of first instance while considering the case of Roohihir Mohsen Amin.
Mohsen faced charges under article 178 (swindling) of the Criminal Code and Court of Grave Crimes sentenced him to 8 years in prison.
