The committee also refuted the reports that chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev told a media outlet that the cargo had been detained. “Atomstroyeksport” company did not confirm the report about the detention of the cargo either.
Radio “Govorit Moskva” reported quoting chairman of Azerbaijani State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev that Azerbaijani customs officers detained the cargo sent by Russia’s “Atomstroyeksport” Company for the construction of Bushehr nuclear power plant again. The radio reports that the customs officers did this in order to check the code of the cargo. It is not reported where the cargo has been detained. According to the documents, the detained cargo contains $171,000 isolating materials.
The cargo sent by Russia’s “Atomstroyeksport” Company for the construction of Bushehr nuclear power plant was detained in Astara checkpoint on Azerbaijan-Iran border a while ago. The cargo was released only after the necessary documents were presented.
