Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund gets AZN 2.036 million for insured deposits over the second quarter

The Fund has to date collected AZN 6.619 million in calendar payments, including membership dues.
The total amount of deposits put by individuals in the member banks rose 7% during the second quarter to AZN 1 497.790 million, including the amount of uninsured deposits increased 14% to AZN 220.3 million, insured deposits rose 6% to AZN 1 277.490 million and the number of insured deposit holders increased 6% to 1 193 687 people.
For the January-June, the total amount of deposits put by individuals in the member banks reached AZN 1 608 million, including the amount of uninsured deposits was AZN 251 million, insured deposits made AZN 1 357 million.
Up to AZN 6 000 of the deposits are insured at the member banks.
