Vladimir Putin: â€œTrade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan is growing at a record paceâ€

Last year mutual trade turnover growth made 47%, it is a record for us. Trade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan is growing at a record pace, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at the meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, APA reports quoting Interfax agency. He said that Russia remains one of the leading countries in trade and economic relations with Azerbaijan. It is pleasant that the structure of trade turnover is very good in both Azerbaijan and Russia.”

Putin added that relations between the two countries are developing in many directions and they are diversified.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed his hope that Putin’s visit will give a new impetus to the relations between the two countries.
