According to him, establishment of this institute is considered as an important step for discussion of problems in the Caucasus by the speakers of parliaments.
Mentioning investments in Georgia by Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Chernyavsky noted that Azerbaijan could be a mediator in the regulation of the relations between Russia and Georgia: “Because Baku and Tbilisi have friendship relations”.
Doctor of Historical Sciences also spoke about the process of the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. According to him, this unresolved problem impedes the development of Caucasus: “If any progress is achieved in the solution of the conflict, living conditions in this area can fully change. For example, Armenia can become rich within two years.”
Stanislaw Chernyavsky called Azerbaijan a friendly country open for everybody: “Azerbaijan is a country with highly-developed infrastructure. In short, this is a country worth visiting. Therefore, soon Russians will begin to rest in Azerbaijan, not in Turkey.”
