We have to try to push hard for peace. US Administration worked hard to bring the parties. From our side we are willing to reach peaceful settlement based on international law and 1967 borders, including East Jerusalem as a capital of Palestine and settling the issue of refugees”, Palestinian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nasir Abdulkarim told APA.

According to him, it will open greater opportunities for the region and for the people of region and people worldwide.

He also said that the negotiations in Washington would be a good omen for Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. According to him, the issue can be solved peacefully through the negotiations: “There are 4 resolutions of UN on the issue of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan”.

He also spoke about conference on support to Palestine: “First of all the people and people of Palestine express great appreciation and respect to Azeri stance by hosting this conference. And secondly the initiative of Azerbaijan to contribute 5 million dollars to assist the project inside East Jerusalem, so that was a historical conference that held in Baku. It is a solidarity that was shown not by noisy speeches but through actions.
