He mentioned that the first summit was held in Kazakhistan in 2011 on the initiative of the Kazakh President and dedicated to the issues of economic cooperation.
Presidents of Turkey and Kyrgyzstan Abdullah Gul and Almazbek Atambayev will also participate in the summit. Gul is expected to arrive in Azerbaijan on August 14, Atambayev on August 15.
The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS) was established in 2009. The Council includes 4 countries: Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
