Elman Abdullayev: â€œThe visit of the representatives of New South Wales state to Nagorno Karabakh is illegalâ€

Shamil Alibeyli – APA. “Visits to the occupied territories without permission of Azerbaijan are illegal and we take principled position on this issue,” said Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev commenting on the visit of the representatives of New South Wales state of Australia to Nagorno Karabakh, APA reports.

"Unfortunately, some politicians have become the tools of Armenian Diaspora and protect their personal interests. The Armenians use them as instruments using money and exerting political pressure on them. Having visited the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, they disrespected the official position of their own country and international law. Australia has repeatedly stated its position on the territorial integrity of our country. Azerbaijan will express its position to the Australian side regarding the recent events. Our Embassy has already been given relevant instructions,” he said.
