Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has arrived in New York. Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA that the aim of visit is to attend the UN Security Council’s open discussions on “Cooperation between the United Nations and regional and subregional organizations in maintaining international peace and security” to be held on August 6.
Argentina President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner will preside over the meeting.
The Minister will deliver a speech and hold bilateral meetings at the UN Security Council during the visit.
