Baku. Shamil Alibeyli – APA. Turkish President Abdullah Gul has arrived in Azerbaijan, APA reports. Gul was welcomed at the airport by Azerbaijan’s Economic development Minister Shahin Mustafayev, Gabala region Executive Power Sebuhi Abdullayev, Azerbaijani ambassador to Turkey Faig Bagirov and Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismayil Alper Joshgun.
The purpose of his visit is to participate in the Gabala summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States on August 16.
Gul is accompanied with Ahmad Davudoglu and Binali Yildirim, as well as by other officials.
Note that, the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States was established in 2009. The council includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
