The climate changes we are facing today are created by humans themselves, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş said at the 13th Plenary Meeting of TÜRKPA, APA reports.

He stated that this cannot be solved solely through laws and amendments: "A mindset change is needed. Climate change and global warming can bring many other problems with them. If the world warms by another 2 degrees, we will never be able to stop the global wave of migration. Today, the cause of all the problems we face on Earth is humanity's failure to treat the Earth as their ancestor's property. On one hand, the order of creation on Earth is being disrupted. We are obliged to establish justice at every point on Earth."

The President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly also addressed the situation in Gaza: "The reason for what is happening everywhere in the world is the breakdown of order. What happened in Gaza is an example of this. We will apply order and justice in all areas—in politics, ecology, and economy."

Numan Kurtulmuş pointed out that despite existing international agreements, we observe some countries' indifferent approach towards the environment.
