“More than 3 billion people on our planet are particularly suffering from climate change,” said Managing Director of Forecasting Healthy Futures organization Kelly Willis during her statement to journalists, APA reports.

She said that these people are considered to be special vulnerable groups:

"However, we are all affected by the negative consequences of climate change. That's why investments should be made in the health sector so that those people can resist these changes."

"UN member states must fulfill their obligations. This includes, in particular, the reduction of greenhouse gas effects and the transition to a sustainable renewable energy sector," she said.
