According to him, today, on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan and Armenia have real opportunities to conclude a peace treaty.

"At present, active work is being done between the commissions on the delimitation and demarcation of the state borders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, and agreements are being prepared through direct bilateral diplomatic negotiations. I note with great joy that as a result of the joint activity of the Commissions, 4 occupied villages of Gazakh region were returned to Azerbaijan last week. I would like to use this opportunity to emphasize that Azerbaijan will not allow third countries outside the region to intervene in the normalization of relations in the South Caucasus," the diplomat noted.
