Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In September, 2014, 74,936 vehicles were compulsorily insured.

Of this, 19,200 were registered abroad and entered Azerbaijan for transit. Insurance fees on signed insurance contracts exceeded AZN 6 mln, up 5% from previous year. Number of contracts rose 6.2%.

Totally, over 688,000 insurance contracts on compulsory insurance civil liability of vehicle owners were signed in 9 months and total insurance premiums made ANZ 51.7 mln.

Number of contracts rose 5.92%, insurance premiums soared %6.1.
