Number of borrowers reaches 2.2 mln in Azerbaijan

Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. As of September 1, 2014, number of borrowers in Azerbaijan made 2,194,966 persons, up 21.4% from previous year, Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.

Of this, 10,584 are legal entities, 2,165,547 individuals and 18,835 business entities.

Structure of borrowers

According to statistical data, 383,130 persons have been added to the list of individual borrowers since August, 2013.

Legal entity borrower list added 995 persons, business entities – 2,810.

Compared to July, number of individual borrowers rose 30,055 persons, business entities – 367 and legal entities – 51.

Growth of borrowers in August (person)

In august, Centralized Credit Organization received 286,404 appeals, up 45.97% from previous year. 279,917 of these appeals belonged to banks. 6,487 appealed to get information about credit history.

Appeals by individuals rose 1.4 times in January-August.

Number of borrowers

Number of borrowers, about which credit registry has information, makes 2,194,966, number of credit information – 8,117,093. Guarantors made 1,035,622.
