Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Intergovernmental contract on “Mutual protection and promotion of investments” signed between Azerbaijan and Russia in Astrakhan attaches a significant important, chairman of Economic Policy Committee of the Parliament Ziyad Samadzadeh told journalists.
According to him, Azerbaijan has already changed to lending country from borrowing country: “Azerbaijan does not only attract investments, but also is investing in foreign countries. This is indicator of extension of financial opportunities”.
The MP thinks that Azerbaijan can rationally use the agreements reached and the relations among the countries will be better.
“Investments in Azerbaijan’s economy in 2013 exceeded investments in Armenian economy by 20 times”, Samadzadeh said.
He noted that Azerbaijan’s GDP makes 75% of South Caucasus countries’ GDP: “This means that Azerbaijan is believed and it is needed to use this rationally”.
