Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-September, 2014, the Ministry of Taxes transferred AZN 5,346,762,800 to the state budget, up 7.98% from previous year.
The Ministry told APA-Economics that 32.4% of this was profit tax, 28% - VAT, 13.2% - income tax, 10.9% - excises, 15.5% - other taxes.
During the reporting period, AZN 3,130,010,500 was transferred to the budget from non-oil sector, up 14.1% in annual comparison.
In January-September, 2014, registered tax payers rose 11.6% to 61,181. As of October 1, 2014, number of registered taxpayers made 591,178.
