Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. In January-August, Azerbaijan-based Ateshgah Life Insurance company headed insurance payments market with AZN 17.9 mln.
Second place was held by Pasha Sigorta with AZN 17.4 mln. Ateshgah ranked 3rd with AZN 9.6 mln. Azersigorta paid AZN 8.8 mln, Azerbaijan Industry Insurance – AZN 7.3 mln, Azsigorta – AZN 6.5 mln and AXA MBASK – AZN 6.4 mln. Total insurance payments made by these companies stood at AZN 74 mln, 72% of total payments.
The insurers with the lowest payments are Era Trans (AZN 231,700), Azergarant (AZN 47,400), Gunay Sigorta (AZN 63,000), Royal Sigorta (AZN 8,300) and Chartis Azerbaijan (AZN 340). Total payments by these companies made AZN 350,000 (0.3% of total payments).
