Baku - APA-Economics. AZN 1.292 bln was allocated from the state budget to the State program for socio-economic development of the regions in Azerbaijan for 2014-2018, said the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, a number of projects financed by state budget on improvement of medical service, life condition of IDPs, extension of tourism and sport potential, promotion of carper-weaving, studying national culture and other spheres were put into use during the reporting period.
Sharifov said AZN 257 mln was allocated to execution of the State Program on social-economic development of Baku city and its settlements in 2014-2016, construction of roads among villages, continuation of reconstruction works in cities and regions, as well as initially AZN 29 mln was allocated from President’s Reserve Fun for start of construction of roads among the villages.
Regional gasifying program spent AZN 60 mln. Totally, the funds for execution of program reached AZN 620 mln.
AZN 256 mln was allocated to supply Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, regions and cities with potable water.
