Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. AZN 184.6 mln or 65.2% of insurance premiums collected in January-August, 2014, came from voluntary insurance types, up AZN 9.4 mln or 5.4% from previous year.
Premiums n compulsory insurance types made AZN 98.7 mln or 34.8% of market, up AZN 8.1 mln or 9% by contrast to a year ago.
73.5% or AZN 76.1 mln of payments went to voluntary insurance types, up 37.9% or AZN 21.6 mln in annual comparison. Payments on compulsory insurance types rose 17.4% or AZN 4.1 mln to AZN 27.5 mln.
AZN 41.2 was paid for each AZN 100 premium from voluntary insurance. It was AZN 31.1 in 2013. AZN 27.8 was paid for each AZN 100 payment on compulsory insurance.
