Azerbaijan gets AZN 1.4 bln budget surplus during nine months

Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Incomes of state budget during January-September, 2014 made AZN 14,070.6 mln, expenditures – AZN 12,693.5 mln, budget surplus – AZN 1,377.1 mln, APA-Economics reports quoting the Finance Ministry.

So, AZN 13,903.7 mln-forecast of the budget incomes was fulfilled by AZN 14,070.6 mln.

Ministry of Taxes fulfilled forecast by 101.8% transferring AZN 5,324.4 mln to the state budget, up AZN 394.4 mln or 8% from previous year. Of this, 58.3% or AZN 3,107.7 mln came from non-oil sector, up AZN 376.0 mln or 13.8% by contrast to a year ago.

State Customs Committee fulfilled forecast by 100.1% transferring AZN 1,134.9 mln, up AZN 123.2 mln or 12.2% compared to a year earlier.

Incomes from paid services of organizations financed by state budget made AZN 155.0 mln. AZN 56.6 mln was transferred to the state budget against AZN 27.1 mln-forecast, up AZN 8.1 mln or 16.7% in annual comparison.

SOFAZ transferred AZN 7,399.7 mln to the state budget.

Incomes of state budget for July-September made AZN 4,731.7 mln.

Expenditures were fulfilled by 86% or AZN 12,693.5 mln against forecast. According to economic classification, 31.7% or AZN 4,019.4 mln were directed to social expenses, up AZN 521.4 mln or 14.9% compared to previous year.

According to functional classification, compared to a year earlier, the community charges were up AZN 51.0 mln or 24.6%, art, culture, information, physical education and spheres not belonging other categories – AZN 29.7 mln or 16%, defense spending – AZN 141.6 mln or 15.2%, judicial power, law-enforcement and prosecutor’s offices – AZN 71.9 mln or 10.7%, health expenditures – AZN 37.8 mln or 9.2%, social security and social benefit – AZN 113.6 mln or 8.4%, education expenditures – AZN 70.4 mln or 8%, agriculture ,forestry, fishery and protection of environment – AZN 14.8 mln or 4.2%.

AZN 1.401.2 mln were spent to construction and reconstruction of science, education, social, cultural, sport and other objects, AZN 2,729.1 mln – to construction, reconstruction of energy, water and gas supply, transport, community, melioration infrastructures and other spheres.

AZN 44.4 mln went to financing of investment projects in Nakhchivan. State budget expenditures in July-September made AZN 3,969.6 mln.

Budget incomes made AZN 17,734.3 mln, up AZN 817.4 mln or 4.8% compared to a year earlier. Expenditures stood at AZN 14,652.8 mln, up AZN 265.6 mln or 1.8% by contrast to a year ago.
