Baku – APA-Economics. According to current data, the state budget revenues in Azerbaijan for the first nine months of 2014 made AZN 14,071 billion, executing the income plan by 101.2 percent, said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov in his speech at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, APA-Economics reports.
According to the minister, the state budget received AZN 5,324 billion through the Ministry of Taxes, up AZN 394 mln or 8 percent from the same period of 2013.
The state budget revenues through the State Customs Committee increased by 12 percent or AZN 123 mln compared to the current period of 2013.
The state budget revenues from non-oil sector amounted to AZN 4,454 bln, up AZN 662 mln or 17.5 percent from the same period of 2013.
According to him, during the first nine months of this year, state budget expenditures amounted to AZN 12,694 bln or 86 percent.
“During the reporting year, 24.3 percent of the state budget expenditures or AZN 3 bln. 82 mln fell on social purposes, up AZN 252 mln or 8.9 percent from the same period of 2013,” the minister said.
Over the first nine months of 2014, capital investment expenditures of the state budget made AZN 4.172 bln. Out of these funds, AZN 1.401 bln were allocated for the construction and reconstruction of facilities for socio-cultural and household purposes, AZN 2.184 bln for the construction and reconstruction of energy, water, gas supply, transportation, communal, irrigation and other infrastructures, AZN 44 mln for funding investment projects implemented in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and AZN 545 mln for funding defense and other projects.
