Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. As of September 1, 2014, total foreign liabilities of Azerbaijan-based commercial banks made AZN 4,543.4 mln, by rising AZN 1,144.9 mln or 33.69% year-on-year.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan says compared to previous month, foreign liabilities rose AZN 15.5 mln or 0.34%.
At the same time, as of September 1, 2014, banks’ total foreign assets stood at AZN 3,047.0 mln, up AZN 952.8 mln or 45.49% in comparison to a year earlier. Compared to previous month, the assets slipped AZN 164.2 mln or 5.11%.
